Novitec Ferrari 488 GTB

The Ferrari 488 GTB is a high-performance sports car introduced in 2015, replacing the Ferrari 458 Italia. “GTB” stands for Gran Turismo Berlinetta, a nod to Ferrari’s heritage of blending luxury and race-inspired engineering. Powered by a 3.9-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine, the 488 GTB produces 661 horsepower and 561 lb-ft of torque, marking a shift from Ferrari’s naturally aspirated engines to turbocharging for improved efficiency and performance.

This powertrain enables the 488 GTB to sprint from 0 to 60 mph in just 3.0 seconds and achieve a top speed of over 205 mph. Its engine is paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission, providing rapid and smooth gear changes. The car’s exceptional performance is complemented by its advanced aerodynamics, featuring active aero elements such as a large rear diffuser and electronically controlled flaps that optimize downforce without compromising speed.

The 488 GTB’s chassis is a mix of aluminum and composite materials, offering a balance between rigidity and weight savings. Ferrari’s Side Slip Control 2 system enhances the car’s handling by allowing for precise power delivery and cornering stability.

This wheelset was done in collaboration with our great friend in the Philippines, KBH at Import Hookup. His Ferrari is featuring the Novitec NLargo Kit and his own design of Brixton Forged – the KB02 Targa Series. Finished with both a Polished and Brushed look, this is one for the ages!
