The Porsche 911 Dakar is a bold tribute to Porsche’s off-road legacy. Inspired by the 1984 Paris-Dakar Rally-winning 953, it blends rally spirit with modern performance. This special edition 911 is built to dominate terrain beyond asphalt.

Under the hood, a twin-turbo 3.0L flat-six delivers 473 horsepower and 420 lb-ft of torque. Power reaches all four wheels through an eight-speed PDK transmission and all-wheel drive system. A lifted suspension, reinforced underbody protection, and Pirelli Scorpion all-terrain tires ensure stability on gravel, dirt, and sand.

The Dakar name carries history. In 1984, Porsche entered the Paris-Dakar Rally with the 953, a heavily modified 911. It introduced all-wheel drive to the 911, setting the stage for future innovations. Two years later, the 959 secured a 1-2 victory in the 1986 rally, proving Porsche could dominate extreme conditions.

Today’s 911 Dakar honors its predecessors while embracing modern technology. Carbon fiber body elements, including a fixed rear wing and hood, keep weight down. Rallye Launch Control optimizes acceleration on loose surfaces, ensuring maximum grip. The Rallye Design Package features a livery inspired by Porsche’s classic Paris-Dakar racers.

Limited to just 2,500 units worldwide, the 911 Dakar is as rare as it is capable. It embodies Porsche’s legacy of rally dominance while proving the 911 remains one of the most adaptable performance machines ever built.
